The Dolly Lammy: On the Move Again!
This September in Ottawa Breathing Awareness Week WorldWide is sure to be a topic of discussion. Our local representatives will be taking BAWWW to Parliament, with the goal of making this important initiative a national observance. We're sure that Parliamentarians will see the benefits of a week devoted to raising awareness about conscious breathing, teaching stress-preventative breathing techniques, and generally improving the quality of life for all Canadians. Watch this space!

The Dolly Lammy gets around!
The Dolly Lammy is becoming quite the world traveller, going as far as Ottawa, California, and even Texas! In Ottawa, Canada's Federal Immigration Minister Jason Kenney has one.
Closer to home, The Dolly Lammy is finding homes with local elected officials like Vancouver-South MP Ujjal Dosanjh, Conservative candidate for Vancouver Centre Rachel Greenfeld, and Vancouver-Langara MLA and Minister of Advanced Education and Labour Market Development Dr. Moira Stilwell. (Not to worry: The Dolly Lammy is still completely bi-partisan!)

The Dolly Lammy is making friends!
Attribution being the currency of the Internet, we'd like to take a moment to note a few places where the Dolly Lammy has been making waves.
A few years ago, we posted an ad looking for a business writer to help us spread our message of conscious breathing, and it netted us a Middle Finger Award. But we're good sports. At the time we hadn't finished our website or even really set foot online, and now that we've done both, we sent Kathy an e-mail inviting her to give us another try. And she did!
The result? It seems a lot of people are coming around to the idea that conscious breathing is indeed important and valuable - and that The Dolly Lammy is adorable, which is nice to hear.
One Vancouver chiropractor thinks The Dolly Lammy is such a good idea that she's telling her patients about us via her online store. We hope you like your Dolly Lammy, Dr. Stoilov!
Finally, the best news for the day: four Vancouver-area schools have been matched with local sponsors and will be joining our A Dolly Lammy in Every Classroom program this coming fall. We're looking forward to seeing the positive impact of these kids learning to use conscious breathing on a daily basis, and what it can mean for their grades, their health, and their lives in general.

Update on A Dolly Lammy in Every Classroom
A Dolly Lammy in Every Classroom is well underway!
We're hearing back from Vancouver-area schools who say they'd love to welcome a Dolly Lammy into their classrooms. We're presently working with sponsors to provide the funding to make sure we can put a Dolly Lammy on every desk come September.
If you're a parent who'd like to sponsor your child's classroom or school, we'd love to hear from you. Sponsoring a school with ten classrooms can cost less than $200. Imagine the effect that would have!

We've been busy promoting BAWWW these days. We're approaching Ms. Oprah Winfrey about possibly featuring The Dolly Lammy and BAWWW on her show, to promote our message on a larger scale. We've also been sending out tons of snail mail to local schools, telling people about our A Dolly Lammy in Every Classroom project, and are anxiously waiting to hear back from them so that we can go on to the next step in the process.
